Island Board Walk
Research, Writing, Creative Direction, Design

A year-long project inviting people to join in the rediscovery of the Isle of Dogs. A heritage board walking-trail was updated to feature archive images and personal accounts of island life. Content for the boards surfaced through multiple workshops with local groups and schools, and weekend events. Board graphics comprised vinyl overlays – a palimpsest allowing visitors to view faded originals. The trail included an audio commentary of local voices. In collaboration with Friends of Island History Trust, Canal and River Trust, George Green School, Anna Savva, Massey Shaw and local residents.

Funded by Canary Wharf group.
Featured in the London Architectural Festival 2017
